Archive for September, 2011

At the beginning of this year I had an opportunity to attend the Making Things Happen workshop here in Tampa.  It was the perfect kick in the my pants I needed to start this year of ME!

While there I met some incredible women. One of those special ladies is Desiree. She spoke of her passion for her new business, her love of photography and her obsession with her baby girl. I was smitten.

This spring she reached out to me and asked if I could help her with photos for her incredibly adorable business, Happy Crawlers. (Seriously one of the cutest inventions I’ve ever laid eyes on.) You’ll see them modeled below by Bri.

Anyway, we’ve quickly become friends and earlier this month I met her, her hubby and daughter at the University of Tampa for photos.

I call this Part I, because there is another part to the session but you’ll just have to check back. You won’t want to miss even more cuteness!

My new website is up.

Go check it out!!!!

It’s definitely been a labor of love. I have so many emotions going on as I put it out there for people to see. I’m hoping you all love it as much as I do.

It’s a big move for me to announce myself at a portrait photographer, but I’ve found where I am happiest and what makes me happy. Don’t worry, you’ll still see me shooting weddings, but my main focus of my business is where I want it to be, on families. That’s where my heart is.

One of the main reasons for designing a new site is to complete my branding that was started here on this blog. I’ve loved what I helped create here and I wanted to carry it over to my website.

I’d like to send out a very big thank you to my good friend, Carrie Pratt of Simply Blue Studios. She put in countless hours getting my site up the way I wanted it. She was so patient with me as I fumbled through all this WordPress mumbo Jumbo. She gave me great advice and put as much love into it as if it were her own site. Thank you so much, Carrie!

Also, a big thanks to my business coach, Dane Sanders, for challenging me on every step. I may roll my eyes with frustration, but I know that he only pushes me because he has faith in me. Even when I don’t. He does. He is always thriving to help me, be the best me, I can be. Big hugs, my friend.

More love to my family and my friends (Jamie & Jaymi, especially) for all your continued support. I am so blessed to have you in my life.

So, it’s here and it’s LIVE, so please take a moment and go check it out and let me know what you think.

XOXO, Christine
