Personal Project-Tease

Here is a sneak peek to a personal project I have started during my photo shoots.

His name is Buster and I’ve had him since I was a little girl.

Please check back to see where this goes.

Here is the second part to the fabulous wedding I shot a few weeks ago in Arlington Heights.

The church was stunning with the wall of stained glass behind the altar. The afternoon sun shined in at the exact time that Rich and Erin began their ceremony and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

The perfection continued at the reception. They did a beautiful job with decorating the tables with lavish pinks and greens. The cake was just an elegant. A classic end to a beautiful day.

Please enjoy my favorites!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of second shooting Rich and Erin’s gorgeous wedding in Arlington Heights, Illinois. It was a beautiful late summer day without a cloud in the powder blue skies. Julie Roberts Photography was the main shooter and I had such a great time hanging in the background and making some photos of the happy couple. I quickly realized how wonderful the family was and knew it was going to be not only a great day but also an amazing experience.  Here are some of my favorite shots from the beginning of the day. My absolute favorite photos of the day were taken just minutes before Erin’s Daddy walked her down the aisle. You’ll see below!

I wish the happy couple the best and can’t wait to see what Julie captured too.

The couple decided to do a first look and I just thought the location was perfect for it. They found a gazebo in Erin’s grandmother’s neighborhood.

Before  the family members took their seats, and Erin and Rich were married, they all joined together to pray over the couple. It was such an intimate and special moment.

Christmas Tree Ornament Cards

As I mentioned on my Holiday Session Flyer I am super excited about offering the absolutely cutest Christmas tree ornament cards EVER! Who wouldn’t want to send these beautiful gems out to their family and friends. I know when I receive a photo card I want to be able to display the family picture for my guests to view but I don’t have enough space for that. Or I don’t know where to place them and now the guess work is done for you. Just hang it on the tree. I can’t wait to create one for my family and see it on my family and friends trees. So, don’t delay, contact me for your holiday session and I’ll gladly design one of these for you too!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of second shooting for the fabulous, Julie Roberts from Knoxville, Tn.

We met last January at a photography workshop and have kept in touch through Facebook. Our styles are different, I’m pj and she’s more whimsical. I have enjoyed following her work and watching her build her business this year. Her work is flawless. Clean. Imaginative. Her successes prompted me to emailed her and ask  if I could shadow her for the day. See her in action. She loved the idea and suggested I join her in Chicago. So, of course I jumped on the opportunity.

I had such a great weekend asking her a gazillion questions and watching her shoot and learning so much. The experience was priceless.

Thank you so much Julie!

And because every blog should have a photo, here is a tease to Rich and Erin’s wedding.
